The plot in this book is just so entertaining and unpredictable. The way that Nikki gets herself into these crazy situations is both hilarious and endearing. And can we talk about Brandon? Swoon-worthy crush alert! Who wouldn’t want their very own Prince Charming like him?
But what really makes this book stand out from others in its genre is the underlying messages of friendship and self-confidence. As someone who struggled with those things in middle school (who didn’t?), these themes really hit home for me. It was wonderful to see Nikki grow as a character throughout the story.
